Hardware-efficient random circuits to classify noise in a multiqubit system

In this work, we extend a multiqubit benchmarking technique known as the binned output generation (BOG) in order to discriminate between coherent and incoherent noise sources regime. While methods exist from at single few-qubit level, these scale poorly beyond few qubits or must make assumptions about form of noise. On other end spectrum, system-level techniques exist, but they fail sources. We experimentally verify BOG against randomized (RB) (the industry standard technique) two-qubit regime, then apply six-qubit linear chain, regime currently inaccessible RB. experiment, inject an instantaneous $Z$-type on each qubit demonstrate that measured scales correctly with magnitude injected noise, while remains unchanged expected. This demonstrates robust measure errors variety hardware.
